Hi fashion aficionados!
We all know in order to support our LOVE for fashion sometimes we tend to sacrifice our
bank accounts and a little bit of our comfort. We have all done it so do not deny it! ;)

Keeping up with the latest trends and designer brands can take a big hit to our wallets. So for this blog we wanted to draw inspiration from the
current trends and designer looks on the catwalk to create realway looks for young adult females to feel comfortable on the streets of California.
Being college students, we can understand the word "BUDGET", so we want to show you how to wear the latest trends and our favorite fashion
looks for less while still having that trendy edge.

As a follower of KBT’s Runway to Realway you can expect a post every week. The posts will cover a trend for spring 2012 with inspirational
pictures of Runway looks and designer ready-to-wear fashion pieces. After the inspirational pictures we will describe how to wear the trend in
everyday looks and show pictures of the realway look. Enjoy :)

DIY Bedazzled Purses

Bedazzled Purses

This week's featured DIY project: bedazzled purses!


Taking inspiration from Kate Spade's bedazzled clutch, we found a cheaper, but fun way for all those with a budget to rock this fun and colorful bag.

Supplies are easy. All you need are: 
Scissors/Paper Cutter,
Glue,
Cardboard,
Bedazzling Gems,
Material for purse strap (chain, rope, etc.) 
Black felt,
Turn lock 


Then cut and score the cardboard into 4 panels so that there is a front, back, bottom, and flap. Measure and cut the felt so that it's the size of the cut and scored cardboard. Position the turn lock to where you want it on the purse, then sew the felt directly on the cardboard. 


Then start bedazzling!!



Insert your chosen material for the strap and you've got an original, bejeweled purse, chez toi!
